World Fantasy Convention

2001 World Fantasy Convention

November 1-4, 2001
At the Delta Centre-Ville Hotel
Montreal, Quebec, Canada

MONTREAL

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada with over 1,000,000 people in the city itself. Like Manhattan, it's an island and the city centre has many skyscrapers. While French is the language of most of its residents, almost everyone dealing with the public knows English due to the large number of visitors from the U.S. and English-speaking parts of Canada. And whether you're dining at fine French restaurants or touring the old parts of the city (which date to the 1700's), you'll FEEL like you've gone somewhere different and special! For more information about Montreal, visit http://www.tourism-montreal.org/.

Once you drive into Montreal, a car isn't really necessary. The Subway, bus, and train systems are integrated and allow you free transfers from one to another at no cost. Also, the hotel is directly connected to the underground shopping and subway system.
